2014 Executive Council Meeting was hosted by Harbin Summer Music Concert in Harbin, China on 7, August (Thursday, 16:00-17:00).

The representatives from China Shanghai International Arts Festival, Hong Kong Arts Festival, Harbin Summer Music Concert, OzAsia Festival and Jakarta International Arts Festival discussed the proposal on hosting 2015 AAPAF AGM from Auckland Arts Festival and cooperation between AAPPAC and AAPAF from Association of Asia Pacific Performing Arts Centres (AAPPAC). In addition, invitation from European Festivals Association (EFA) regarding 2016 EFA General Assembly and possible cooperation under the Framework of AAPAF were discussed as well.

All EC Members present agreed to end Live! Singapore as AAPAF member and the membership of Hi!Seoul Festival. What’s more, the electronic way to vote was agreed to be employed if the quorum of 2014 AGM is not met. To cooperate in the best way, all EC Members accepted the information exchange to be worked on at first and agreed to collect members’ need in terms of the cooperation between AAPAF and AAPPAC. Furthermore, the idea of mask exhibition based on an initial research was adopted by all members.

Five EC members have attended the 2014 ECM in Harbin, China, with Macao International Music Festival, Singapore Arts Festival and Seoul International Dance Festival absent with apologies.
