The AAPAF Annual General Meeting 2012 was held on Oct.17, 2012 (Wednesday, 14.00-17.00) in Shanghai Puxi InterContinental Hotel. Hosted by the Center for China Shanghai International Arts Festival, 19 of 35 AAPAF members were present at this meeting.

In AAPAF AGM 2012, the Executive Council tabled 2 important proposals－rename the Association as the Association of Asian and Pacific Arts Festivals , revise the term of EC members and chairman. After a brief EC report of FY2011-2012, 7 new members who applied for AAPAF membership delivered their presentations, including 5 full members and 2 associate members.

The AAPAF AGM 2012 also elected one EC member from the Pacific-based full members, discussed the future development of AAPAF and called for the hosting proposal for next year’s ECM and AAPAF AGM.
